Laser Services

“Laser engraving” is the common name, but lasers are used for more than traditional engraving here. We use them for stippling, Cerakote detailing, precision geometry cuts, and marking work that other tools can't do as cleanly. Each application is distinct.

01

Traditional Engraving

laser-engraving:engraving

Text, logos, names, serial numbers, or custom artwork etched permanently into slides, frames, and components. Precise, clean, and nothing added to the surface — just material removed.

02

Laser Stippling

laser-engraving:stippling

Frame texture applied via laser rather than a soldering iron. The laser produces more consistent pattern results, cleaner edges, and no heat stress to the polymer. The goal is the same as traditional stippling — better grip — but the execution is more controlled.

See the Glock stippling page for generation-specific details.

03

Cerakote Detailing

laser-engraving:ablation

Lasers can process Cerakote after application — altering the surface to create contrast, patterns, and artwork on top of the coating. This enables precise two-tone effects that would require extensive hand masking any other way. It's one of the more capable things we do and a genuine differentiator.

See the laser-optimized section on the Cerakote page for how the techniques work.

04

Precision Slide Cuts

laser-engraving:precision-cuts

Some slide geometry involves angles and surfaces that conventional milling tools can't reach cleanly. Lasers handle those cuts with precision. If your project involves tight geometry or unusual angles, ask us whether laser is the right tool.

05

Marking & Detail Work

laser-engraving:marking

Laser marking for identification, compliance markings, decorative detail, and surface work that requires precision without cutting through the substrate. Useful for serialization, unit markings, and fine detail that engraving would make too deep.

Combining laser work with Cerakote

The most striking results come from laser work on top of Cerakote — whether that's tonal variation in a single color, or a two-color ablation pattern. If you want artwork, a logo, or a two-tone design on a coated gun, call us and we'll walk through what's possible for your specific project.
